Post CNY, we have to lose weight again, all gained from that feasting over pineapple tarts and bak kwa. I found that I am already gaining weight with all that pre festive eating lol. So here is a review on the salted egg yolk broth by ah chiang porridge in tiong bahru.
I had the usual mix pork porridge, no more raw fish for me, with the additional salted egg yolk added to the mix. The porridge is very smooth, not thin, its because its slow cooked in a charcoal fire, while there are some disparaging remarks about the porridge, I still find this place charming, and great for a post CNY diet to lose weight.
